Description
This is a lovely 10 acre parcel with maintained dirt road access through the property. Power line runs along the road and serves neighboring houses. The property is only about a 2 mile drive to Curlew Lake and just over 1 mile from the Ferry County Rail Trail. The town of Republic is only 11 miles away which gives you easy access to grocery, restaurants, auto parts, hardware/feed store etc.
The portion of the property south of the road is forested and has varying degrees of slope up away from the road. The southern end of the property showcases amazing views of the surrounding hills and forests. The portion of the property to the north of the road slopes down from the road to a very flat and level meadow alongside a picturesque stream. The westernmost portion of the property appears to be the most likely location for a driveway through the trees down to the meadow.
There are homes on neighboring 10 acre parcels, although the tree cover and stream provide a great deal of privacy. The very close proximity to state and federal forest lands and Curlew Lake provide endless possibilities for outdoor recreation and relaxation.

Nearby Attractions/City
Republic, WA
Republic is the county seat and largest town in Ferry County. Republic had a population just over 1000 back in 2010. It has more amenities than you might expect being that there are no other sizeable towns in the county. There is a small hospital with emergency room and medical clinic here.
The area was formerly a rich gold producing area and there is an annual Prospector Days festival to enjoy.
I personally love this area and have family that has been going every year for fishing, hunting and camping for over 60 years.
Lake Curlew
Curlew Lake is popular for fishing for trout, bass, perch and also has Tiger Muskie. It has been recently popular for perch ice fishing. It is also used for other water recreation such as water skiing. There are several publicly accessible boat launch points. The Ferry County Rail Trail follows the complete western edge of the lake and is perfect for walking, biking, shore fishing and wildlife watcing.
Republic, WA area ATV riding, racing, hiking and biking.
