Description

This is a beautiful near 1 acre in the neighborhood of Brooklyn, WA nestled in a lush river valley between timber-producing mountains. This is a corner lot with excellent access off county roads. The west half of the property has previously been cleared so is currently mainly flat with grass. There are some large trees around the perimeter and privacy hedge along the roadway. There is not much traffic in the area, as you are near where the road turns from pavement to gravel as you pass through the logging areas as you head east.

There is power to the property. There is also a well house with an electric well pump. The electric pump and water filter has not been tested, but the manual pump does function. Nothing is known about the quality of the water in the well. There is even a mailbox at the entrance to the driveway already.

There is a very small one-room cabin on the property which will require some rehab. The inside appears dry and the roof intact, but the door is no longer attached. There are no utilities to the cabin currently. Please see the pictures and video on the website for a better idea of the condition of the cabin. There is also an outhouse pit toilet included.

The property is 1200 feet from Weyerhaeuser forest land and one and one-half miles from Port Blakely Tree Farms land. With an annual permit, the Weyerhaeuser land is accessible. Port Blakely land is public accessible without a permit.

You are within an hour of the ocean beaches at either Westport, WA or Ocean Shores, WA. You are close enough for a day trip to the beach but still very secluded being away from main thoroughfares. Just over an hour to Olympia. Great for a weekend retreat or out-of-the-way residence.
